BACKGROUND:
The Blanc Family (meaning “White”)

A very wealthy but unfortunate family. They were orphaned a couple of years back when their parents were taken away by the "government". With out knowing the reason, the town tries to avoid the three heirs of the Blanc house thinking that they will get their curse of bad luck. The oldest daughter Lydia is a very quiet and mysterious girl who always wears a black dress. She keeps her face hidden in a veil to commemorate her wedding day when her fiancé disappeared, but she believes that he is alive and will come back one day.

***Rune witnesses Lydia’s fiancé getting mugged by robbers on the day of his wedding before he reaches the church. He gets stabbed and left to die in the alley when Rune tries to help, he realizes that the man was as good as dead. He reveals his ability to transfer souls to the dying man, asking if he is willing to do so. The man agrees. His soul is transferred into a black rusty armour which Rune found near by. But he is never to meet Lydia again being at that state. He watches over her, with out her knowing who the black knight is always coming to her rescue and disappears with out a word.

The first son is Leo. Only he and his sister remembers their parents being taken away. From that day on, Leo’s personality of being a pessimistic child completely inverted into a vibrant and outgoing yet very strange boy. He dresses himself with the most “unique” tastes. His new attitude was a way to try and defeat his fears and hide the torment in his heart. Rune is the only kid his age not afraid of the said curse and they became best friends. Mainly because he sneaks in his neighbours mansion every chance he gets. He is one of the people who knows about Rune’s secret.

*** Leo was an outcast despite his jovial personality because of the rumours in town. He hid himself at the back of the school yard after he gets into a fight with some bullies. He was in the verge of tears when suddenly he gets distracted from his agony by a strange creature. (This is Rogers.) Rune’s dog in the form of a stuffed animal catches his attention. He runs after the mysterious animal in curiosity. He turns and is found by the bullies and gets cornered. Just as when he was about to get hit by one of them, Roger’s saves him by pouncing on the other kid. The bullies were freaked out by the moving stuffed animal and thought there was a demon possessing it, Leo being a bringer of the ominous and all. This is how Rune and Leo meet when Leo refuses to give Rogers back to Rune.

Kristopher is the youngest child. He was so young when their parents were taken and this trauma caused him to forget everything about it. The only thing he remembers at the back of his mind was minding the time, which was taught to him by his father who gave him the pocket watch he always carries around. He has a habit of saying “It’s already time!” to his brother and is very strict with schedules.

*** Kristopher is very delusional when it comes to Sherry because of her cute appearance. Sherry takes advantage of this fact and that Kristopher might as well be running the house hold, and tries to get her and Leo together. But the older brother remains completely oblivious.
