Created in Photoshop and painted using a Wacom tablet. If digital paint had depth, then you would be peering at your monitor from across the room...a lot of painting

There are times in everyone's life when they need a Guardian Angel or feel that that have received their protection. I think I have worn out quite a few but if they don't exist then stupidity must offer its own protection, at least in my case.

This is the eighth in my angel series:
Angel of Sorrow [link]
Angel of Lost Dreams [link]
Lest We Forget (Angel of Peace) [link]
Harbinger [link]
Heaven's Gatekeeper [link]
Fallen Angel [link]

Thank you If digital paint equalled house paint, then at least three bedrooms are finished

Oh my haha, pretend that you get cookies for every meter you paint! Then you will paint the entire house in no time at all, atleast if you're a cookie monster like I am!

If I did that I wouldn't be able to fit into the house to paint it My favourite cookie, which I buy every month is a Danish biscuit, ginger thins....I think I could eat the whole packet at one sitting if I allowed myself to do so. I actually prefer muffins to cookies (shame on me)

A wonderful piece of art by itself, this closeup. I esp. luv the zoomed in impression and painterly effects

Thank you Desmond I am trying to paint more in each manipulation and hopefully I will become confident enough to paint again. I am taking my time.

Since we're not art students, we've not been challenged to paint outside our comfort zone. I trust future technology will help us become fullfledged digital artists, with or w/out professional training. Just need to keep up the interest ^^

I have seen a lot of self taught artist's who are very good but I believe education is the key to becoming even better. I have a friend, who in my opinion didn't draw well enough to do an art course but after a three year art course, the change in her work is beyond amazing. I was also told that natural talent helps but motivation and willingness to learn and apply this knowledge is more important. I have no problem keeping up the interest as I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, until the operations. We can only try Desmond
