This is probably the first drawing I've actually put effort into. Like, literally- the first. I am very proud of the outcome!! The background could be a ton better, I know, but hey, I'm still learning. x3

I love big cats... and my favorite is the snow leopard. I enjoyed drawing this... no refs, so it might be a little off, but oh well. >w< I think it looks adorable.

As you can see, my new style has changed a lot, and I think it'll settle as something similar to this. I really like the eyes @.@ THEY STARE INTO YOUR SOUL. Not really Though I think they look cool. =3

What do you think of it? I'd really, really appreciate critiques, so if you have the time, please consider it. =w= Thank you!

Heya c:
The first thing i want to say about this is that those front paws are just LOVELY, you did a really nice job on the angle, and they look very cat-like!

The feline itself looks really nice! The coloring is true to its species and the brown colored lineart adds mood. The character looks a bit mushed though in places. His jaw kind of curves in awkwardly on the right side and the direction his face is looking at betrays the direction that his body is going. The ears seem to be going left, and the rest of the face to the right. This makes the drawing look a odd to the viewer especially when it would be awkward for an actual cat jump that way c: This could be fixed easily if you draw a straight line when sketching, from the butt to the head (it will help you align things better)

The body itsself (chest, stomach, butt) all seem to be great both anatomy and perspective wise, but you got to watch those back feet a bit. They seem to be making it look like his hind end is going to spin around itself, and the foot closer to us is just a tad to big for the perspective. Angle those feet a little more to the left next time and you should be fine c:

The last thing about the cat is just his eyes, while the coloring is outstanding, and very fun to look at, the positioning of the iris ad pupil make him to look a little cross eyed, which would be fine if that were your intent.

Again, i really love the pose you chose, and that you went for a bit of perspective! The movement in the back and tail are awesome!

I think that if i bit more detail were put into the background, it would really make the rest of the picture look nice. Because while the feline is shading is fairly defined and the lines are hard, the background is extremely soft and fuzzy. Simple adding more shadows and lights to this picture would really add a lot of dimension and make the cat look more in place with the bg, instead of popping out of a backdrop c:,
I might even add some lineart to your background, to give it more body and more flow.

Over all, well done. the mood of this is really nice and i feel
happy looking at it, I really love your style of coloring because even with the cooler colors, it feels warm and nice. Keep up the good work!
