Woo-hoo. Keepin' the train moving.

So what you see is a true story. When i have to just do sketches, not actual finishes, I sometimes like to work at the Borders Bookstore not far from me. It's a nice change of scenery, and i can go check out some cool books during break time. So a couple weeks ago, I did just that.

Can't blast the tunes at the bookstore, so i rock my headphones, which make me deaf to the world. I'm drawin' away and when i finally pop my head up, I see this little girl. She's barely 2 feet away from me, wide-eyed and seemingly marveled at the site of me, with her finger plugged into her nose like as if she's keeping her soul from leaking out.

I wondered how long she had been there, 'cause i didn't even notice her. Thinking she'd eventually move on---I give her a playfully perplexed look. My 'look' becomes genuine as I realize she's not moving, not reacting---she's just staring, a vacant look on her face, as she plugs her nostril.

Bookstores are fun.
