this was a sketch that i started a few months ago, but i never got it past the blue pencil stage, lol. finally got the opportunity to finish it last friday when Grant Morrison (illustrator on "WANTED", "52") was doing a signing at a comic shop on South Street in Philadelphia. he was holding a sketch contest by which the winner would get some original artwork. the winner's going to be posted on the comic shop's website. i don't frequent the shop a lot, so i'll have to give you guys the name later, lol. also, i'll post up a better scan when i get one. I met some other cool artists there that are here on DA as well. they're not technically professional, but they might as well be, lol.i think this is my first real drawing of Huntress. she was always my favorite "Bird of Prey". hope you guys like her too. My version, i mean, lol. enjoy!

i guess that's a possibility. It's just that i would still have to order and have physical prints of my comic ready to sell there. and i'm trying to cut down my own outright costs as much as possible. with Indyplanet, i don't have to put up any money for the comic to be printed. i just place my price and i get the profit, minus the printing costs when the book is sent to whomever buys it. that's why i'm kinda pushing the online sales of my comic thru Indyplanet. I'm sure i'll be exploring plenty of other options before I'm thru, tho.

Well, that's a great way of cutting through expenses. Although, and I'm part of them, most people are still very attached to the "reality" of a product, when they can feel, smell and read it everywhere... although, with computers today, you can pretty much read everything everywhere.
