I've been meaning to ask, you do Mai's look differently than the show or really anyone I've seen. Is there any reason you do her hair that way and use those colors?

No reason,I guess. It seems the references I use to draw her tend to be a tad diffferent. Sometimes her hair is dark violet or near brownish-black. Sometimes her face is slender or very narrow. Or maybe it's just my artstyle that makes Mai a little different.
