I think this is a great image. I think it is okay for folks from various perspectives, and points of view from all over the world to have a different feeling about how mature a specific content might be. I think this works as is as a fine art piece, and I am also okay if it is or isn't marked mature. I had a piece recently that someone said, it 'isn't' mature, and yet I replied that I approached it as a mature piece, so the intent was there, even if in a mild form. I think these works are all really good. I for one, would like to be able to see the piece as originally conceived, if that is possible. I checked out your website, too. nice things all around!

I really like how you've colored the skin, the amount of colors and tones are beautiful! Do you work digitally or traditionally? Some of your works in your gallery look digital, but like this one they have a really nice painterly quality that looks like oil paint.

He's a cowboy! And he's placing his ear to the ground to listen to the sounds of horse bandits that are chasing after him, in order to calculate the distance separating them from him. They ambushed him in his house while he was showering, so he had no choice but to run naked, managing to grab only some paper/piece of canvas and string to make a makeshift "cap" that would shade his eyes and thus protect them from the blinding sunlight bouncing off the pinkish desert sands. Thankfully it's warm outside, so he doesn't worry about getting cold, but he'd appreciate having something for defense. Unfortunately stealth is his only option at the moment.
But in all seriousness - amazing piece! Very lovely and very sensual, and pleasant to look at - the palette and expression is great! <3

Wow ! That's a beautiful piece of art ! I love the posture and how the character seems like he's looking behind us.
Also, I think the color palette you use is very interesting ! Love all those pink/purple tones work together and this purple glow you give to his tan skin.

Ah thanks a lot! I always find pink to be the most sensual colour so I prefer to use a more pastel pallet with content like this; and I'm glad his gaze feels a bit distant as the character themselves is also visually impaired (was worried it would seem his gaze is fixated when it couldn't be). I love your untraditional use of colour in the lighting and shadowing. It gives your work such a otherworldly look.

Ah thank you! I like trying to find unique or unusual colour combinations and trying to push unnatural lighting to feel as if it could possibly be natural. One hopes they can get better at this as time goes on! Thanks

Ah it's alright dear, I suppose because I was getting heat earlier on for this piece I got a bit defensive. I suppose it's incredibly suggestive, but I think that is one of my favourite things to work with. Exactly how far down the suggestive rabbit hole can I go ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
