Description Well, it's raining...Again. Which is good for me! I took this photo down in the pasture and it was sooo foggy I couldn't even see the house!

Thanks for looking!

how well do all your horses come clean when you bring them back inside..id be afraid to hurt my horses...

i do a lot of repainting and stuff with my models....i should try to take some more photos of them

great job! i love song!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CatWink In reply to AtemusKitten [2009-03-24 23:39:01 +0000 UTC]

Lol! Usually it doesn't hurt them one bit! I just give them a nice warm bath in the sink and they're good as new! Yeah, when I first started I was deathly afraid that I'd break one of them, but after a while of just being careful it's not so bad.

Yes you should!! If you're really afraid of killing one of them, try starting out with Stablemates. They're cheap and photograph just as well as the bigger models!

Thanks again!

im mostly just afraid of scratching up their paint...or rubbing some off...

i do have penty of SMs i could use for that..i shall start when the weather gets nicer

CatWink In reply to AtemusKitten [2009-04-21 22:38:49 +0000 UTC]

I know what that's like. But, if one does get a scratch, I can usually repair it using acrylic paint and a bit o'sculpting epoxy.

You go girl! Have fun!!

I'm happy that you like it! Yes it is the Wintersong model. No, I haven't been to a model horse show...They don't have any out here. If you can find a good show you should go! You never know how well a model might do!

jethorse In reply to CatWink [2008-10-30 21:56:28 +0000 UTC]

theres no model shows near where i live either, BUT if i can pursuade my dad to drive me to one fifty miles away...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CatWink In reply to jethorse [2008-10-31 18:54:11 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, getting anyone to drive me to the nearest model horse show would be like trying to keep the rain from falling! Lol!

Although, I find that if I give my parents the Puppy Dog Eyes it works pretty well. They can't resist The Puppy Dog Eyes!!!

How do you get everything into proportion; you do it so WELL!!! Even the pasture fence afar off looks perfect!! And the bushes in the foreground!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CatWink In reply to Queen-of-Randomness [2008-10-30 20:28:07 +0000 UTC]

Lol! THANK YOU!!!! The bushes and the fence are actually real. I guess that when you get down on the horse's level it makes things in the background look more in scale.
