LadyJafaria is right; this is not any Iguana! It's actually a Crocodile Monitor(Varanus salvadorii), a very large predator native to New Guinea, sometimes called a "Tree Crocodile", for good reason. Why the sign said "Land Iguana" I don't know; perhaps budget cuts kept the zoo from changing the sign, or maybe they just got lazy or negligent, but in any case it's very misleading on their part. One clue that it's not an Iquana is that long, forked tongue; all members of the Iguanidae family have broad, flat tongues, more like a dog's, while Monitors are among the few lizard families which have a forked, snake-like tongue that constantly flicks in and out.
