i really like the classic cartoon style to this. i love how expressive the face and pose are, and it gives a very cheerful vibe to this. the way you draw hair is detailed and not over-the-top, something that is quite difficult to pull off. the style and coloring give this a very nostalgic feel to it. the background is simple and is a good use of more than 1 color, but the colors are quite bright, which can make it rather distracting, though in traditional art this isn't always so easy to prevent. in my personal opinion, a cool color may be better for the background, and it would be more well unified with the character. it would also help the character's brown fur stand out from the rest of the picture. i really do like this piece and id love to see more from you in the future!
