I finally did it. I started reading the One Piece manga, and I'm so glad I did. Oda is a master story teller, and all his characters won my heart immediately! If you are daunted by the length of the manga, don't be! I can't put it down!

Gemma Overview:

Gemma is a savvy businesswoman and fence, or a dealer in stolen goods. She and her four sisters run Rainbow, a fleet of treasure exchange ships which specialize in the sale of treasures, antiques, and lesser Devil Fruits which they purchase from pirates.

The eldest of her sisters, Gemma is bossy, demanding, and strong-willed. Despite her personality, she can be very charming to customers and Rainbow's pirate partners. She is greatly respected by her clients and the pirates she associates with.

Gemma adores treasure and jewelry, and loves to collect and wear priceless antiques. She has an irrational fear that her younger sisters will marry before her, and becomes enraged when her sisters receive proposals or appear to have serious relationships.
