Description
If you keep my signature on the bottom, you are given permission to show this piece around the Inter-tubes.
So I'm taking Latin (still in Latin I). I wanted to experiment with writing in Latin, so I came up with this short script. It was supposed to be a comic, but it was so short that I thought the one picture better expressed it...and was more worth the time. >.>
The Latin probably isn't very good, but it's supposed to translate to this:
Atilius: Caelina, I've been thinking...
Caelina: You've been thinking! I very much doubt that.
Atilius: Do you want to hear what I ahve to say or don't you?
Caelina: Yes, yes. I was only teasing.
Atilius: I want to marry you.
Awwww.... (the grammar is a little weird because I wouldn't be able to write in normal Latin speech yet...)
So their story is that Atilius is a young middle-class Roman citizen, possibly in the military. Caelina is either a servant or a slave...Atilius's family's finances would make her more likely to be a slave, but she's too curvy to be a slave, she looks more like a well-paid servant. Anyway, they're in love but they have to keep it a secret; Atilius is just wealthy enough to cause a scandal for marrying so low as Caelina but not wealthy enough to be able to do what he likes.
Such a long story for just a little exercise! The characters got the better of me. If I do any more with them, I don't think I'll keep writing in Latin.

Atilius: Caelina, pensaba…
Caelina: ¡Pensabas! Muy dudo.
Atilius: ¿Quieres escuchar que tengo decir o no?
Caelina: Sí, sí. Sólo con te bromeaba.
Atilius: Quiero me casa con tu.
Awwww… (la gramática es raro porque no soy buena hablar latín o español)
Y tengo un cuento de Atilius y Caelina pero no sé cómo traducir. ¡Perdón! ¿Quieres traducir? ¿Por favor?
