Run faster boy... The yellow-faced monster is coming to get you!!!Shot taken on the run.
During my last weeks in Africa, I became very good friends with a group of nurses' kids staying on the grounds on their school holidays. Due to my incompetency in Zulu, I was reduced to "RAAAARRRRRR!!!!" whenever I see them, making 'scary' faces as I chase after them, which they have a blast running away from.
One of the most striking things in Africa during my time there was the children -- While so many have so little, and some face a very bleak future (if at all), it touches me how naive, innocent and genuinely happy they are. They find true joy in an old doll, a plastic toy car, or even just a good ol' tickling session during my morning tea break... it makes one wonder are we really raising our children the right way in the Western World with our cellphones, McDonald's and Playstation?

I agree- people in the more developed countries really have less heart than ones who have little. We take for granted everything and lose our innocence faster.
