I know, I know... I was planning to draw a Sephiroth for ~Jumei -san, but when I finally had my artstuff together, I figured out there was only one thing left before I could get started: a reference picture. LoLJumei found one for me, though!!
I've been drawing this when I was REALLY depressed. To be honest, I'm not in a very happy mood lately. I know why, but I can't really tell you.

Vincent: 'You're dead ugly! Your portrait's nothing compared to this baby!

Rude: 'You were calling me? Reno?!'

Just a question, I can never get pencil works to scan right, how dark do you draw? What kind of pencils?

This scan looks exactly the same as the original.
The scanner can scan your drawing too light, tell me about it
So what I always do is to edit the colors in Photoshop by using 'levels'. I explained it in my drawing progress tutorial

I had to for half a semest my gr. 9 year,
and then I took it in gr.10 and now gr.12 :3

I was looking through my favorites and for some reason I saw this. And since I've been known to talk to myself, I said to myself "That would be a killer mousepad." So I came over here and was slightly sad to see that I can't get this as a mousepad. Can you set it up so I can get it as a mousepad?

haha i always check back here n get shocked at the level u draw at. i just finished a bruce lee drawing so i was looking around to get some new ideas. I saw u n ken are drawing vincent (by the FFVII is a fantastic game) it'll be good to see whos is drawn better.
i think u focus on skin a bit more than ken but i think he has to take pictures of his drawings so some quality might be lost so i might be mistaken.
Anyway great drawing i look forward to this n seph n jake drawings too. (great mako eyes on seph)

Ken is amazing at drawing too. I think you can't really compare who's better, since our styles are quite different, despite of the fact we're drawing realistic portraits.

No, Hojo is Sephiroth's father and Lucrecia is Seph's mother. Lucrecia is also Vincent's previous lover.
