As we grow older and the world begins to change,
The curtains open with a new cast on the stage.
Northern Lights
The obtrusive daughter of Rainbow Dash and Spitfire. Fueled by vitriol, this pegasus will stop at nothing to prove she's better than her mothers.
Sweet Potato
50% of the Fluttershy/Big Mac spawn, with 100% of the energy neither of her parents have.
Glitter
Twilight and Pinkie Pie's prodigious daughter, skilled in the magic of empathy.
Apple Bourbon
The eldest Apple child, this innovative, creative son of Applejack and Soarin is heir to the farm.
Berry Blossom
Sweet Potato's twin sister. Berry is actually quite outgoing, but doesn't speak much- opting to be a listener.
Chroma Key
Octavia and Vinyl Scratch's young daughter and Berry Blossom's best friend.
Bright Eyes
Twilight's student, a bright young unicorn sent over from Trottingham to be tutored by the greatest mage in Equestria. Rivals with Glitter for Twilight's attention.
Bazzle
Bright Eyes's own "number 1 assistant". A bit slow on the uptake and very forgetful, but very devoted to his friend.
Gem
The gentle, sensitive son of Spike and Rarity. Spends most of his time cooped up inside, cutting precious stones.
Knick Knack
A free-wheeling jack of all trades. Knick Knack loves to cause mayhem and make life generally difficult for everypony else.

I really like this but I do have a complaint on how you managed to have two females have children. I have nothing against homosexuality pairings but when it comes to having children such just doesn't work.
How would Rainbow Dash and Spitfire, Twilight and Pinkie Pie, Octavia and Vinyl Scratch have children?

Apart from that negative I actually greatly enjoy this picture, it is well made, it is well colored (believable coloring), and the lore you have for these characters is very good for the most part.

Gem's talent is gemstone cutting. He discovered his talent when his mother (Rarity) was making a dress, and he noticed the gemstones were shaped wrong; he decided to cut them to the right shape. That is how and what Gem's talent is.

I'm glad to see the old group back again with a few new characters. I loved the old story and I know that im gonna love the new story (That is if there is one) and all I want to say is that you've inspired me and stuff and even got me into the Deviant Art fandom. So thank you thank you thank you! (Also I'm making a shortstory and I was wondering if I could use a some of the cast members an the pairings and stuff if that's fine by you.)
