Done in Open CanvasThe revivial of the Junk series~ Ahh... I can already hear people's screams in despair in the back there! (for the fact that the Junk series is back and the fact that it's Gungrave fanart again
)Anyway, a random practice sketch of Brandon. Couldn't remember who it was that said to me she wanted to see a pic of Brandon in his "Brandon-look" rather than the "Grave-look"... So this is the outcome *points above* This pic is inspired by episode 11 of the anime, where Brandon went to fight about a dozen of Necro-rise people with a D-point (which practically broke his shoulder, thanx to the strong recoil)
Damn I hate guns... I hate them with a passion..... They're just freaking impossible to draw~~~!!!! *goes on a killing rampage*

Okay. The "Junk Series" officially kicks ass. I love this pic....his expression is so intense. And he's so hot. I haven't read the manga, so I have no idea who he is, but now I want to do so; the pic intrigues me. The gun is actually really good, so are the hands.

WOW....this is AWESOME. That episode was intense, so intense. Wasn't Brandon a beautiful man?... When he cut his hair in epidode 12 I just about donned black and went into morning (No! The hair is gone! And since when does he need glasses? That's BS!). Junk is the best! So cool. Me likes.

Anyone have any idea what the benefit of shooting cross-handed is supposed to be? I know he's not shooting that way here, but really, that wierd way of holding his guns, what's he supposed to gain by that (besides a crick in the arms?) I know it looks cool. Maybe he's ambidextrous, (did anyone ever see him write anything? What hand did he use?)
Love the pic. He was soooo pretty. I practically donned black and went into mourning when he cut his hair off after the fight with Blood War (not to mention there is NO WAY he suddenly "needed" glasses. Give me a break.) . At least one good thing came from his resurection: THE HAIR IS BAAAACK! All is right with the universe.

I don't know much about guns, but I think that this one turned out just fine. Looks like it has moving parts, which I think is one of the hardest things to capture when drawing guns.

Lovely! Ahhh Brandon...I had seen some of your earlier Gungrave fanart and decided to download and watch the show. All last night and this morning, almost straight through, I watched the first 20 episodes. Yaaa! Love it. Thanks for posting your fanart and getting me into the series.
Wonderful job on this piece. Yes the gun too. You did well even if it frustrates you. The only thing that I can say as to constructive criticism is that his teeth are a little bit too white. Perhaps, the same white of his eyes(with that hint of yellow) would be better than the existing white, that has a bit of blue, I think. Just my opinion! Great job!
...I keep seeing Sirius Black when I look at Brandon...same looks and both have that 'NO BETRAYAL' issue...hehe...

Ah thanx for pointing that out! I didn't know that it makes so much different since I couldn't see the light colours well on my laptop screen (which seems to be blindingly bright all the time with no way to adjust the brightness), thought the colour I put on the white part of the eyes didn't make much difference, but I was wrong~
Anyway, yay!!! I've sucessfully lure another person to watch the show~ Bwahahahaha~~~~ Glad that you like it though! A lot of people gave up after watching the 1st episode (because they think it's weird)... And some people who don't like drama stuff don't like the show either. Still, this has to be the most underrated show of the year!!!! It deserves more love~~~~
