Whew! My apologies this is so darn late, it was a busy day for me. But here it is, today's daily drawing, this time based on the Rain prompt. Not the best in the world -- actually felt like it could have come out a lot better -- but I do like how the droplets of rain on Sawyer came out.

I need to draw more fanart for this movie, because heavens do I love it. Watched it again a few days ago, and it really cheered me up. Cats Don't Dance was a movie from my childhood and I STILL adore it. The characters are fun, the songs are catchy, and it still makes me laugh. The animation is really lovely, too. It's really a shame this studio didn't turn out more films, I think they would've been really good. I think this movie is still on Youtube, so if you haven't seen it, please go check it out. It's a very entertaining one.

Anyhow, I decided to draw Ms. Sawyer for this prompt as a last-minute decision. "Tell Me Lies" has been stuck in my head for the last few days (and I had it on loop while I drew and colored this). Just such a beautiful song, with a fantastic video to go along with it: [link] . I think it speaks to what a lot of us go through in life: hoping things will be okay, even when the cynical part of us is convinced they won't be.
