So on the first page Viktor wanted to commit suicide instead of falling into the (cruel) hands of the enemy, right? Desperate times cause desperate decisions, I guess. I'm happy he didn't succeed and fate had other plans with him.
I love Yuri's sad and earnest look, he's so full of sympathy and sorrow.
That soviet crest on Viktor's cap must be a hell of work to draw. It looks so fine, that I almost forget that. You also manage to characterize Victor and Yuri so well. They seem as if just jumping out from the anime, but in a very different situation.

and that damn crest took hella lot of time XD I hate it. Also the weapons are such a pain to draw.
I tried my best to draw them in the anime style so that people would feel some kind of connection to the story...

I knew it. Crests aren't easy to draw, tomany details. Same goes for weapons and machine things. You think they're easy because they got edges, but then you see all those little tiny things they're stucked with. Ughh.... it must be a pain indeed to draw this.
