lol I know... hehehehehehe It is nice to have time to play for a bit... got to get busy soon though, have to get new carpet installed in the bedrooms and have to repaint them and move out furniture first....I haven't even stated and my back hurts just thinking about it..lol

With the exception of installing the carpet,, yep, I will be doing it all by myself. I do 90% of the remodeling in the house by myself while the hubby is at work,, I am a whiz at drywall, tape and texture, and painting. I also do 99% of the demolition work. I can also do some electrical and plumbing stuff. I can also lay pergo and I put together all of the new cabinets in the kitchen..... But i am smart enough to know that I need to hire someone to install new windows and making holes in the house for new sliders and windows where there are none. lol I am a very handy woman..

that shows. you're definitely a keeper sifu ali. a woman like you is hard to find these days--so resourceful. you and :iconladyresd200141: should talk sometime, she's just as handy when it comes to computer maintenance and car repair, among other things. if more women of my generation were like you 2 ladies i might not have such a problem meeting a good one instead of one who expects a man to take care of them but still screaming that "independent woman" b.s. like they're beyonce or some stupid bubbleheaded slutter from "sex and the city".

lol thank you! It is so funny because I taught my kids how to do things to be self sufficient..Just don't ask me to sew anything. My daughter can do a lot of handy work and her husband is all thumbs, she won't even let him handle a screw driver because he will mess things up. My son is very handy to, and once my grandkids get older i will teach them how to do things too. lol

damn that's sad when a man can't even wield a tool properly like a man is supposed to. it's the same with the younger women these days thinking because they can microwave a t.v. dinner they know how to cook--that's not cooking baby doll, that's nuking. if you can't boil some water and put something in it to cook or simmer or boil or fry or grill or fricasee something in a pan or skillet then you're hopeless. believe it or not i met some women who admit to not knowing how to cook an egg. AN EGG NOW! that's the easiest thing in the world to cook! they'd burn a bowl of corn flakes if they could.
