It was just an average day in the parlor, little customers as people mostly wanted to be have a tattoo rather than a piercing. Which is understandable, sort've as they have the same amount of pain to them. The newly hired piercing artist sat on his stool, playing on his phone as he wondered if he should've even bothered coming into the parlor to work at all.

Avril had recently finished one of her customer's tattoos a while ago, and was having some coffee with her budgie as it sat on her shoulder, grooming her purple hair. She sighed flicking her bobtail around as she glanced around shop. She was pretty proud of her work today so far.

The Munchkin cat of the feline species was looking around the shop as well, catching the sight of Avril, but he just blinked his pale, dull eyes and laid his head on his chin as he continued to play on his phone. He was about to be his highscore as well.

After finishing her coffee Avril went around shop, cleaning some equipment and putting things in their places, her budgie flew over to one of the tables near the munchkin, clicking her little feet as she walked over to him, chirping.

The feline's ears twitched slightly as he noticed and heard the little bird flapping it's little wings and clicking it's little feet. He took his attention away from his phone and held a finger towards the bird so it could climb up and onto his hand if it wished to do so. He had a lot of patience as he watched the bird and wonder what it would do.

The budgie walked over to him, grabbing onto his finger and sitting on it, making little kissy and chirping noises as her owner cleaned around the parlor.

He brought the bird to eye level and gently patted the little bird on it's head, then stretched out his arm so the bird could walk along if it wanted to stretch it's little legs. "Wonder who's your owner." He muttered to the bird, but didn't expect it to respond as he watched it with little interest.

"Booboo?' Avril looked around the shop, realizing her bird wasn't with her when she realized it was with one of the new employees and walked over, "Oh there she is, hey sorry if my bird bothered you, she's just too friendly hah, hey you're one of the new employees right? The name's Avril, nice to meet ya!"

He watched the bird, but his ears flicking again as he listened to the footsteps and the sudden, cheerful voice that rang in his ears. His piercing dull eyes flicking from the bird to her and he blinked, holding out the bird to her as he nodded to her question. ".... Right." was the only response he gave.

"ah......great thank uhm" she gave a nervous chuckle, letting the bird crawl onto her finger, 'So whatsup, what's your name?"

"Joker." was another simple response as he let his gaze fall to the side where he watched some children play, not finding that interesting, he kept his head tilted to the side and only moved his dull eyes to look back at her.

She chuckled, "That's a really cool name, it's nice to meet you, I hope you enjoy your stay here"

He just looked at her and asked in a plain, almost bored voice, "You're a Tattoo Artist?"

"yes" she gave a quick nod, her budgie flicking its tail.

He just nodded and leaned back in his chair, his shirt was a little loose and small on him, it revealed a few, long and large scars across his stomach and abdomenher skinny as well, as the light fur showed he was anyway.
