Robert Baratheon in his rebellion against the Mad King. After making several 'A Song of Ice and Fire' related pictures, I decided to continue and fixate on Robert's Rebellion. I already want to comment that this might not fit the description of Robert as in the books. This is more my own vision of the character if he were in his own show in the same style as 'Game of Thrones'. Many fans do want a prequel series based on Robert's Rebellion and I can't deny that it would be cool to see. I thought Russel Crowe would make a good 'Robert'. Obviously this picture is meant to take place after his fight with Prince Rhaegar at the Trident. I used a picture of Stannis in armour as a base. I proceeded to put Russel Crowe's head on him and bulked him up. Robert is quite bulky, while Stannis is quite lean in the show. Next I removed Stannis' sigil from his armour and placed on the crown of the stag, Renly had on his armour in season 2. I proceeded to hang his Warhammer on his back and made it look weathered. This is where my wife came in and helped me to make the lighting match with his head. She also added blood splatter on the armour and the hammer. I enjoyed making this picture and will probably move onto making one of Eddard Stark during Robert's Rebellion. Despite different interpretations on the character, I hope people will still like this picture
