Crowfeather, Nightcloud and Breezekit.Breezepelt has a pretty darn good reason to be evil. He doesn't deserve all that hate. :/

The reason his Daddy issues don't work for me as excuse/justification for Breezepelt, is a little something I like to call, 'Disproportion revenge'.
His father was overly distant and strict. So does that mean Breezepelt acts equally cold to him? Does not allow him to see his granddaughters, Smokepaw and Brindlepaw? Those things would seem to be fitting for wrongdoings committed against him. But Nope. Instead, he uses murder/violence when none was used against him.
Heck, he doesn't even lay a claw on Crowfeather.
Rather, he tries to goes his half-sidings who were just as much as victims of their father. Trying to kill them for the crimes who their parents, something they have no control of/innocent of. He tries to kill Jayfeather and the pregnant Poppyfrost because she happened to be there. During the Great Battle, he tried killing Lionblaze and celebrated Hollyleaf's death. He was also allied with the cats who were killed 8 of his clanmates, who could of also just as easily of killed Nightcloud or Heathertail. And didn't have a hint of remorse for his actions or regretful for being spared exiled, even being smug about. This is what separates him from the rest of the trainees, who didn't fight in the Dark Forest side and felt guilty for what they did.

And yet in the most recent series, he's still a Windclan warrior STILL living in his clan after EVERYTHING he did!! He's even mated to Heathertail now and has 2 daughters!!
The article on the wiki says His paternal grandmother Ashfoot is killed in the battle as well. His actions cause Crowfeather to nearly disown him, and the majority of WindClan believe he should be driven off due to his choices. Onestar insists that Breezepelt should be given another chance to prove his loyalty. Eventually, Breezepelt is subsequently, albeit reluctantly, forgiven by WindClan, with the exception of Leaftail and Gorsetail who claim that they will never forgive him. Breezepelt bravely fights the stoats on WindClan territory, especially after his mother Nightcloud disappears after one of the battles. He feels he must get revenge on them, even at the cost of his own life
Breezepelt eventually is forgiven by Crowfeather for his actions, and the father and son reconcile. Lionblaze and Breezepelt make amends as well after Breezepelt saves Lionblaze during a battle with the stoats, and Breezepelt apologizes for his words on Hollyleaf. The two half-brothers become friends, and Breezepelt begins to have a healthier relationship with Nightcloud when she returns to WindClan. He eventually becomes mates with Heathertail, and has two daughters with her, Smokehaze and Brindlewing.

Also he did kinda become a better cat so what gives! He tried to kill folks but he didn't and he used his second chance well. Im not trying to justify him or his actions im not actually in that series yet. Im just thinking out loud.

I wish Crowfeather could have been a better mate and father. Even if he didn’t love Nightcloud, he should have been there for her and Breezepelt. And with Breezepelt, well, I feel like he could have been a good warrior if Crowfeather had been an actual father to him.

Crowfeather is very annoying.
1) He has been with three different she-cats, all from different clans, and one being a MEDICINE-CAT
2) He abandoned his family, basically

I hate breezepelt. "Oh but he had daddy issues blah blah blah" So did Bluestar. Actually, she watched her mother, sister, and daughter die before her very own eyes, and she became a great character. Breezepelt is extremely annoying.

Ok Bluestar was ignored by her father but Breezepelt was emotionally abused and ignored not to mention the Darkforest was always influencing him but he turned out good in the end.
