Woohoo Lord of the Flies fanart! C:For a book we're forced to study, it's really good. ;o;
Don't know why, but Roger and Jack are definitely my favourites. Yeah, they're savages, but I like 'em. <3
/spoiler didn't like it very much when they killed Simon or Piggy, though.
Simon's an adorable character, too. ;w;

Did you ever read Beauty Queens by Libba Bray?
It's kind of like a parody of Lord of the Flies only ten times better. Which is saying something because I loved it almost as much as Catcher in the Rye.

Well it isn't really a parody, at least not most of it. Just the very raw basis is a parody, it isn't like The Hunger Pains (which was an abomination if you ask me in the name of THG)
See, it's about a bunch of girls in a beauty pageant who crash into an island and have to survive. But it's really about a lot more than that.
Libba also wrote the friggin' amazing Gemma Doyle trilogy which is probably her best work.
