I watch anΒ episode or two when it first came out and was struck by the fact that while the central gag was about a boy having to wear women's clothes to be a hero (and pretend to be a girl) aside from the pilot episode there seemed to be no reaction by the characters to this situation. I wonder if those reference to cross-dressing were edited out for American audiences.
