happy Valentines Day everyone. I know this isn't all that valentimey and all but I feel like a lot of people would be sick of the Pink Hearts , Lovey-Dovey Couples Bringing Each Other Chocolates In Heart - shaped Boxes aesthetic by now ( not than I'm getting sick of it myself, I just think it's nice to bring something different to the table every so often). and besides, it is a Carlenny Wedding drawing and sometimes, that's all you need.

I did this as a sketch back in November and I have finally decided to finish it for this special occasion. I do plan on making this into a comic.......... someday, because stuff like that can take forever to make and I got way too many other ideas flowing around in my mind right now. but for now here are some quick points and ideas I have for Lenny's and Carl's wedding day:

💜 Lenny is wearing a veil to represent him being a trans man (the veil itself takes a lot of inspirations from other fanart). and the little diamonds are meant to represent the colors of the transgender flag.
💜 Homer is their officiator. Barney is Lenny's best man. Moe is Carl's best man, Carl's sister, Carlotta is his best woman. and in turn, Lenny got Helen Lovejoy as his best woman.
💜Lenny's sister, Lainie was the one who walked him down the aisle( as their father is deceased and he wouldn't accept of Lenny getting married anyway).
💜Lenny and Carl both proposed to each other. they both had no idea the other was planning on asking the question the same time they were so when they did get married they both took each others last name and would become Lenny/Carl Carlson Leonard. it doesn't make much sense but it's my fanmade story so I can do what I want.
💜 they didn't get married in Homer's garage or in church. instead they had their own special outdoor chapel a couple miles away from Moe's. so it really felt like their wedding.
💜 Carl's adoptive parents from Iceland came to the wedding, and were extremely happy for the two of them while Lenny's mother didn't. which did upset Lenny a little even if he knows she never liked him. Lainie would reassure him that it was not his fault and never was.
💜 they've probably written their own vows.

and that's pretty much it. stay tuned for the comic I guess. actually no, don't stay tuned for the comic because as I said, it'll take forever! but anyways, I hope you're all having a wonderful valentimes day today. whether you're spending it with a romantic partner, a friend, a parent, a sibling, a pet, or just having a day of self love like I am, I hope you're doing well and enjoying yourselves. happy Valentimes Day. ❤💝💘💓💖💞
