*felt like drawing Wes to make it family photo... thought this wasn't fitting... maybe later*

So I wanted to draw Wes's parents. Not a majority of the Phandom (at least from what I see on Tumblr) see Walter (male shown above)as Wes's dad

as for Amy she's kinda what I adopted as Wes's mom. For a while I was going nuts about who she should be but finally decided on her for a few reasons.

My Headcanon is in no way law, but I also don't want to argue why I picked Amy as Wes's mom.
Just to debunk some that might be thrown at me.
>Wes gets his hair and eyes from his dad; that's parallel to how Danny's hair and eyes come from Jack.
>No Wes doesn't share similar features to his parents, but neither does Danny.
>Wes does have pupils, but I do follow the headcanon that Sam is biologically Pam and Jerry's daughter; they have pupils compared to Sam having none. You can just say he gets them from his grandparents.

Small history on the Weston's:
Walt and Amy married young and probably to soon, they argued a lot and never tried to compromise. When they did finally divorce Wes was around 4 and the courts ruled in favor of Walt taking Wes and letting Amy see Wes on weekends.

Wes took this stuff to heart feeling he was the reason for their marriage going down hill, but over time turned a bit bitter. Both parents seem to forget him and it's not just "one sided they are evil" thing. They care for him and love him very much.

The issue is just Walter is in a situation where sometimes he is stuck helping at work (cough cough "Employee of the month" cough), he cares for his son greatly and trying to keep their life together so it doesn't get worse than it already feels like. Amy is in a similar boat but she's so easily focused on one thing she forgets about another leading to false promises and forgetful actions, she wants more than anything to to spend time with her son even with the little amount of time they have.

Wes deep down does love his parents and knows they love him, but he's tired of being look past all the time. Doesn't help he focuses so much on Danny, and having the kids see him as the crazy Phantom kid. He keeps his home life closed off and rarely talks about them (closes would be Star and even then he doesn't let her know ALL his problems); he doesn't want more fuel to the fire that he's already caused himself.

Last thing: What do they do for a living?
Walter works for Vlad as a business man and ends up at a rank of being his right hand man, leading to a situation where he does discover Vlad's secret. Vlad takes advantage of this at first threatening him, but later discovers Walter is of great use for small things that slowly start to be bitter, but Walter adjusts. He hides Vlad's secret and usually shuts Wes up when his son seems to be catching on.

Amy works as a top reporter on the streets, going for all the big top stories, being this now since she changes jobs often previous was a talk show host shown in "Control Freaks" (Her only given appearance if not I like to know where) changed that job to do something else like she did before so she stays in a similar field just hops a lot. She's questioned why she's never gone after the big question "If Phantom good or bad?" Her response usually is "That's not a big story! He's obviously a kid playing superhero, give me something I can work with here!!" She's well respected (and feared) by her co-workers and even boss. Working herself to the bones off to a point of a lack of sleep and sometimes passing out. Unlike Walter she doesn't have anything major happening with ghosts for her but does tend to interview them without fear (her camera man wishes to be transferred because of this).

Those are my basic thoughts on Wes's family. I need to draw Wes's grandpa, he's the equivalent of Abe Simpson thanks to Xknight2099

I would like to draw these two more. Parents in general really.

Edit: My ideas are in no way solid so this is why I'm excited to read other headcanons or try to fix continuity I could be wrong about.
