Yes, this is what Kirst does to take the edge off life.Lol, was feeling stressed and my Mum had left a "Don't eat." note on the apples. So I didn't eat them... ^___^

I used tomatoe sauce for ze blood. And yes, I did hollow out the apple, its so much easier when you have the right utensils, I normally make them at school with a plastic knife.
I used a zarrated knife, tea spoon, metal scewer and tomatoe sauce.

y'know, if you made big holes where the eyes are and put mutilated cherry tomatoes in their place, you could demonstrate fruitily what happens when you eat 'un-organic' apples ^.^

yh i know i mean what does it matter if its pretty if we cant eat it? i mean we dont buy food so we could stare at it all day! we buy it to eat it so it has to be natural, tasy and healthy -.-*sigh* oh well, what can you do

Its sprayed with pesticides, they use synthetic fertilizers and wax the skin.

so? pesticides kill pests. like Barbara Streisand. if we didn't use pesticides, most of the fruit would look like your terrified jackle-apple when you buy it. and since when was nylon a fertilizer?

Pesticides go on the fruit, the fruit goes in our mouths. And clearly since we have organic apples, it is logical to assume that pesticides aren't nessesary. And if we need them so badly now how did people in the past manage?

organic or not, if we don't use the pesticides and eat the (harmless) remnants of those, then we eat the countless bugs and larvae that would infest the fruit instead. people in the past managed in the same way they managed without cars and internet and microwaveable ramen.

If we're being plagued by these pests then why is the market for organic fruit so damn large? I've been brought up on organic fruits and not once have I found so much as a worm in my apple.

'organic' does not imply 'pesticide free', and there are much smaller and nastier things than worms that can get in there
