I am - it was the Huntly Half Marathon today - the one I can't run - but went down to support our runnign group, take photos etc...
There was lake that I was able to walk around with my camera so I did enjoy the day

I'm so busy at the moment - I'm trying to get 8 photographs organised to go into a competition, get my head around the club finances as I'm now treasurer of the North Shore Photographic Society, Keep up with dA (it's got to almost unmanageable size with about 200 devs to look at approx 200 messages to reply to each day), then on Monday nights its Embroidery, Wednesday all day is Scrapbooking, Wednesday night is Photographic ssociety night, Thursday night is Coffee/dinner night with friends, and I need to somehow fit the gym every two days as well. I've managed to clean my bathroom and kitchen this morning but still have loads to do

love the colours and the pose. both seem very much... alive. the only thing that bugs me a little is that some parts of the image, especially the background seem a bit pixellated. it's still a cool pic though

I cannot use a tripod as it slows me down especially with macro photography, I prefer to 'up' my ISO in poor light conditions. I can count on my one hand the number of times I've used a tripod..............................

hot day today - 20C - unbelievable for mid may which is almost midwinter

We've had mid 20's up until Thursday, a storm of note hit Cape Town early hours of this morning, been raining non stop since 2am, the temp outside is 16degC and tomorrow 13 is predicted with, listen to this, snow in the interior.........................
