Thanks glad you like it. It does throw your mind, unfortunately it didn't do well competitively as the judges were purists! Sigh!

Its difficult to work out, but its an excellent composition and viewpoint.

I might blog about it later - I usually put those sorts of thingsup in my blog.
The other problem is that I convert from raw, then save the finished product - so don't usually have anything in between unless I purposely save it - which I didn't in this case - if I get time I'll hunt it out and do some snapshots of the process!

okay -
It probably is a manip really - what I did I took the shot but I was standing at the top of the sky' which was on the other side of the pond.
The clouds were reflected in the pond.
I just flipped it vertically to make the reflecion look like sky, then just changed the position of the seagull by selecting and moving it.

Thanks - no - not really all well which is why I've been so quiet. Still waiting for funding to fix my cochlear implant so i can hear again - it's taking forever!
