Lol, took me awhile but I came up with a name hopefully following the same naming style as his son. His name was originally supposed to be a pun on Fortification, but it was too long so I simplified it to Fort i.e Fortus. Get it? Cause Turians be all about military stuff.
This sequence is one of the bigger departures from the original ME2 Archangel storyline simply because we are operating within the world of teenage High Skool AU. If a teenager got sent to the hospital, I'm pretty sure the parents are gonna get called up. Hence, how Papa Vakarian somehow ended up as a side-effect character.
I always had a soft spot for Papa Vakarian ever since ME1. Probably because I was playing a Paragon. As Renegade, you tend to agree with Garrus' point-of-view, whereas Paragon options seem to make you favour his dad's side.
Anyway, Fortus seems to be unable to keep his tough cop act up. (He loves his head-strong baby son) Shepard is totally weirded out.

I love going through your backgrounds looking for the little extras. I love that poster with the enormous syringe. Nothing says "medical professionals" like a needle that take two people to hold it while a third presses the plunger down. Great work!

My friend showed me a page of your comic while she was cruising around deviantart (presumably looking for Shakarian pictures XD) and I was hooked! It was severe enough that when I first reached the end (the page previous to this one) I pretty much went "Nooooooo!"

Nobody is ever ready to deal with a parent, especially when 1) the parent is a cop and 2) the child has been hurt in some way.

There is a graphic novel about Garrus going from Shepard dead to ending up in a last stand in Omega, and what he does before he feels he is going to be overwhelmed is call his dad for one last chat and apologize for not listening more. Then he sees Shepard and tells his dad he will get back to him
