Character sample for Jack & The Beanstalk, which I've just handed the roughs in for. The costume has changed in the actual story quite a bit. But the face is pretty much the same.

He had to be fairly generically medieval in dress / setting (personally, I'd love to have set it in the 1940s with Spitfires flying past), but I wanted a slightly modern twist. Not seen Bryan Singer's version but I wanted to stay away from that. Our Jack is 10(ish) for a start.

I'll add more final pages & sketches as they're done.

The odd thing about this one is that I doodled it in blue pencil, drew in tech pencil over the top and actually used that line here in photoshop. I'm considering doing the entire thing digitally in final though. I did half of the roughs in blue pencil and half digital in photoshop.
