A 3D Studio Max render of Poser character in a GestureMAX environment. Pre-rendering surface texturing effects created in Zpaint and Painter. Lighting and light effects done with X-Dof and Andromeda Scatter Light Effects Lens on 3DS. Scenery modeled in Terragen by ~ rabidmongoose and composed inside 3DS as a background texture. Straight render, without postwork or composing.
My first colaboration with my good friend ~rabidmongoose , one of the best Terragen landscape modelers at DeviantART. He creates haunting environments that claim to be populated by fantasy characters, such as this one. I hope you can enjoy our work.

The background is done in a program called Terragen a landscaping renderer.........a variety of scenes can be done in tgn......look at my site for more of an example......

I keep running out of words for your amazing work, lol.
I want to talk about the water - though it looks real, it caught my eye how you still wanted ot remain within the theme of shadows, and so, even the clear water had a brazened, parched look to it as if shadows prevented its clarity from returning.
