Excellent work here, it really stopped me in my tracks when I saw it.
First I love how you used a very grayscale horse. Horses are amazing creatures with such depth and interest that they don't need flashy colors or markings to hold the interest of the viewer and I really appreciate you looking at it in simpler color fashion, and letting shadings, lines etc draw the interest into the piece.
Second I love the dynamic of the piece. You can feel the horse moving, you can feel the sweat off it's coat, it makes for a very visual and even tangible piece.
Third I love the lines here, if there is one thing that horses hold above most any animals in beauty is their lines, each line has such power, such majesty.
The one thing I might say is that the power and dynamic of the piece doesn't quite mesh at least in my mind with the more stoic and static head, the body feels in motion, while the head seems at rest.
That is but a minor nitpick, beyond that excellent work. Really like what you've done here, can't wait to see more.
