A render I've been doing on and off during NaNo - mostly off.Two of my characters from this year's sci fi novel. The so far unnamed android is on the left, main female character Kse Alesandrej is on the right.
The lighting was a pain. I might adjust it at some point after NaNo - as I'm only 8k from the target of 50k now and I have bribes to finish that I really waaaant... *whine*
It was nice to finally get Kse cemented into image form though. I've only been trying for months.

The lighting was a lot of fun, although... less fun when I had one too bright, washed out the scene and made Kse look like Sadako.
This was one of the first times where lighting was a joy rather than a necessary evil. I'm glad you like how it turned out.

I really like how this one came out, although my first renders totally bleached the entire picture and made it look terrifying... 
Kse (with the black hair) is wearing Uzilite's Liquid Knight On Sky 16 (my treat to myself, as Uzilite's work is gorgeous but soooo expensive T__T although at the time I was lucky and it was on offer) and the Android (with the white hair) is wearing MindVision's Sci Fi set that I got with an issue of 3D World.

Kse's hair is absolutely awesome! This piece is amazing. I love how the colors of android and Kse's outfits both match their hair, and how they are contrasted so nicely together. It just makes the whole thing look polished.
You are so close to the 50k, and I am so far behind. But I will not be giving up until 11:59pm on November 30th.

I wouldn't be too captivated by her: for a supposedly emotionless android, she's becoming a bit of a sadistic psycho.
I think it's the eyes... I buy a nice skin with pretty eyes for her and what do I get? Lunacy. *shakes head*
