Hobbled in a snowy forest, unable to call for help or use her arms makes for a marvelously distressing situation. You even added fog breath!

She must not slip.Β She'd likely be sitting a long time on the snow before she manages to stand up again.Β
(Of course, there are ways to warm up againΒ the parts that get frozen, but at the moment, neither her schoolmaster nor hisΒ paddle are anywhere to be seen.)

Few things as exciting in life as a bound beauty on the run.

Like everyone else said, I love the drama in this scene. Running away tied up, presumably from her abductors and their cabin hideout, hoping to get to the main road, or another house, or ANYTHING before they catch up to her. The ropes combined with her horribly impractical outfit (And lack of shoes) shows this was a spur-of-the-moment, one-shot opportunity to escape.
I like the forest, and the mud on her socks as well. All in all, fine work.

I'm not sure what to say here... I mean, I like that she's running through cold muck in her socks and that she's tied up, but she's got to be colod!

That's a great picture. Her breath freezing as it comes out past the gag is a wonderful touch that really makes you feel the cold. Excellent detail, and a great piece of work!

I love the drama in this picture. She's clearly been kidnapped and is trying to make a run from the cabin/van in the woods. Will she make it to the main road on time, or will her captors catch her before she's spotted? Her feet must be freezing -- I love the dirty, soiled socks. It's got to be agony for her, but her will to survive is telling her to press on against it all. Great pic!

Heh heh. I was just asking, that's all. XD
Still a beautiful pic, regardless.

that's odd.... I swear I wrote "find out" rather than "find you" ... that's what I meant, in any case. I think I must be losing it a little in my old age :s

Not bad at all - pretty damn fine. BUT WHAT IS SHE RUNNING FROM!? BUT WHAT!?

the trees!
um, no, wait, that wasn't it...
heh, I was going by the Japanese film custom that the horror you don't see, of only get the tiniest glimpse of, is far worse than if it were just shown to you. Plus, I'm lazy and this way I didn't have to draw too much!

Man, I love the picture and I love the details, the breath, the dirt on her legs, the background, and of course the outfit. This picture is made of win!

I know... I copied her clothes from Oomshifter's basic model of her, but then when I painted the background it somehow became snowier and colder... I feel rather sorry for her!

you wouldn't hop with a hobble...
(that could almost be the tagline from an advert...)

Well, you could hop if you really wanted to, but you wouldn't (quite) need to. The marketing might be a bit odd:
"Are you bored of walking normally? Why not meet new friends by falling over in public? Practice your agility and balance without taking time out to go to the gym! Available in a range of colours!"

that's ok! I wasn't looking forward to explaining... I thought it looked clear enough, but I did draw it...
Lets hope that her rescuers/captors/passing wildlife can give her a warm drink and lend her some dry shoes, should they encounter her!
