This is our third craft swap/trade!!!
We were very lucky to have this swap/trade with she is an amazing plush-maker. When she asked us for a commission or a trade, we knew right away that we wanted a trade. With her amazing skills we knew she could bring to life one of our favorite characters from Monster Rancher "Tiger of the Wind"

Now, our part of the trade was a "Super Chibi Sayaka Miki" from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. When she requested the super chibi plush I was concerned due to the complex design of Miki. Although the plush is 11 inches tall [which is not too small] the biggest challenge is the body proportions. It has short and chubby legs and arms, not much room to add too many details. Making each piece of the outfit to look proportionate without making the plush look crowded and sloppy was quite the challenge. I hope it looks nice after all.
We are very happy with this trade and we hope that she like this plush.

Aren't swap crafts the best thing!? It's very exciting, no just receiving a goodie but to give the item and knowing the reaction of the other part.

Absolutely! It is such a great feeling to share your work with others.
It is an amazing feeling when another artist/crafter approaches you and asks for a trade, that means your work is being appreciated by your fellow artists and crafters. That is exactly how we felt when you asked for a trade. Geez, it meant the world that someone like you thought that our work was worth it to trade for one of your amazing plushies.
Thanks that means so much. Sometimes I don't know what I'm doing but I've been lucky that the clothes turn out right. lol. I guess your true calling in life was crochet and not sewing. I never pictured myself making plushies, what I wanted to do was writing comic books but it didn't work for me...*sad* Then, I was lucky that some people like the dolls I was making and here I am doing something completely opposite to my previous dream/goal. lol. Weird, isn't it?
I guess so ... some magical girl stories are still good to watch from time to time but just like you I slowly moved from that into another genre. Lately, I like dark stories or with some action or some drama. So, you seriously went from one corner to the other. lol

Don't worry about that, it was just a bit hard but it was a good practice. After making this plush I feel a bit more confident on making clothes for this size. So, thank you for the opportunity to try something new and for believing our work was worth this trade.
