Where has all my art patience gone lately? Why, into this picture here that I've done for my school's art department. My teacher wanted it by tomorrow, so I guess you could say I met the deadline.
This is supposed to represent my school (Estero High School in Estero, FL) in a number of ways. The person is supposed to be me, and I wanted to draw myself in an awesome pose doing awesome things with some awesome art supplies... awesomely.
The paint splatter is made to represent the actual colors and animal of my school's logo . The bell tower I'm jumping off of is the one that resides in the middle of my school's courtyard area. And finally, the beach setting represents the setting of the school: Southwest Florida.As you can tell, I did put a lot of symbolism into this picture, and I hope my teacher notices, haha. My school was hoping to have this entered into some sort of art show when it's finished, so wish me luck!

Heh, that's my goal as well, actually. That, or make a comic series. You're right though, understanding all arts IS the key, and I wish you luck on your endeavors.
