Description Today marks the 10th Anniversary of Psychonauts' first release on Xbox (April 19th, 2005), so I wanted to do something extra for one of my favourite games ever made.
The result is this set of sprites of all of the important characters in the game (minus a few really large ones I decided not to do).

Anyway, due to the obscurity of Psychonauts (and even more so of my own page on deviantArt), I'm sure few people will actually see this, but these sprites are all free to use by anyone who wants to - as long as I'm properly credited of course.
And maybe leave a comment saying you'd like to use them.

I don't know about the Harry Potter bit myself, but...

I'd say Nightmare before Christmas + Banjo-Kazooie + Earthbound + uuuh... there's a bit of a retro spy film look in there too...

Why is Psychonauts so special for so many people? Until now I have only seen Burton esque aesthetic and generic adventure. Can you give me a good answer?

I suppose the aesthetic is part of it, but... for me, I think most of all I found out about it during a time in my life where it really clicked with me. I really like the idea of exploring a representation of a character's mind, and "curing" their issues felt really satisfying, too.

Plus, I guess just like 3D platformers where you collect a bunch of stuff and come across very diverse stages a lot, too. It all just happened to be exactly my kind of thing.

I like that idea of mechanics about satisfaction of helping other people. Like the open world games where you must help others but in this case there are psychic powers and surrealistic levels.
