Description
Okay, so after talking to my good friend Rex, i was inspired to draw an anthro tiger. I have had an idea for a character for a while named Ashcroft Bennet and i wanted him to be a big cat, maybe a lion or something. After drawing out this sketch i decided that Ash is now a tiger.

NOTE: i drew him too large on my paper to fit the feet; i have no trouble drawing anthro feet (you all know this) that is just what went down. So i made a pitiful attempt to make it look like he is standing in water with an island-ish setting... he is a pirate after all.

Anyway, about Ash, he is a playful character and tends to be on the good-natured side of things, making him, well, not a very good pirate at all. He was hired on as a privateer for the crown because of his skills and muscular build, but he needed to be trained by his new friend Chadford Daniel Rockwell. Chad is a better privateer.

In the end they both left the crown and became renegade pirates, at least thats all they could be called. Piracy is the only life that Chad knows and in consequence, outside their country, all Ash knows as well.

Ashcroft's lucky charm is, you guessed it, a four leaf clover. He wears a necklace made of leather on which a small wooden pendant hangs; it is embedded with the clover.
His belt buckle is also made of wood and is engraved with the likeness of a fern to remind him of his origins (being a tiger and all) He was given the belt buckle by his grandfather, who is now dead.

I know the background kinda blows but hey, the pic is about Mr. Bennet. ^_~
