Probably the one biggest criticism I would have is about the way you cropped your image. You chose a central composition, which is sometimes justified, but not here. Right now, the right side is heavy because of the dark tone. It draws the viewer's attention from the plant and creates disbalance. By including more space on the left and less on the right you could easily balance your composition. You could even stick with the rule of thirds in simple compositions like this one.
Another criticism pertains to the upper part of the image, where the sun came into the frame. While it is a standard way of shooting nature, you must remeber some basics of photography. One is that the frame should be "closed", ie no pure white generated from highlight should touch the edge. A simple way to do that in this situation would be to shoot from below, so that the sun is in the centre of the plant, not the top. With proper exposure, it would also create a much more dramatic effect.
Otherwise I really like the colors here, it sets the mood nicely - calm and warm. You might want to add some saturation selectively, just to emphasize a few key areas, but otherwise contrast and exposure are just fine.
Keep up the good work!

Hello there,
I really like the depth in this- it makes for a more dynamic picture. The warm and natural colors give off a joyful yet calming feeling, and the details are dazzling.
I agree with ~hefeigal , though. I admit, when I spotted the thumbnail in my inbox, I was turned off a little bit with the excess light of the sun. I agree that would improve this picture so much, if you captured this scene at a different angle, where the sun was farther away from the brush. It does more harm than good to your picture, as it disrupts much of the harmony.
Always make sure to take note of any light sources in all of your future images. They could break your picture, or they can make it better. They're naturally saturated, so they always grab the viewer's attention quickly. You can use this to your advantage, if you're careful enough!
Overall, a charming piece with a wonderful mood. It may use a little bit fixing, here and there, but still a lovely picture to look at! Again, never stop striving to improve, and continue to take lovely photography. And be sure to have a nice day.

Nice work! As others have mentioned, the focus is great and the depth of focus looks phenomenal,
The only thing I could suggest would be to reposition the sun (that sounds absolutely ridiculous, in or out of context. ) so that it's not right above the brush.
Right now, I feel as if it obscures a lot of really awesome details. I'd try and move up so that maybe it isn't directly on the plant,
Other than that, this is a beautiful shot!
