Of course L would know B was in there - he'd probably figure that the large amount of jam that used to be in the kitchen was in there too, so he'd have to investigate!

I believe it's Rester... I think it is in How To Read. It's not actually his real name though - it's a code name. His real name is Anthony Carter. How I remember that I don't know!

You're right - that's so odd... I have two versions of HTR on the auld com-puter; one japanese where they have only written the western names in western letters, and there it does say "Rester" and that his real surname is Carter.
Then one translated HTR, where they've written "Lester" and Lester again under real name! So it's simply not reliable!!
Outrageous! Or perhaps I should just get some form of a life...
