Description Another pixel palm tree emote. Flipped for framing purposes.
I really could use one in the dA Emoticon Legend,
but dA says they can't add any new ones right now because the don't have the tools,
But the're working on it.
FAQ #276: How can one of my emoticon submissions be adopted as an official deviantART emoticon and put into use around the site?
In the event that dA is able to start adding new emotes, they have my full permission to add the palm tree.
I also give permission to my watchers to use it.

Sweet. I love icon/pixel art.
I never could do any of that pixel icons stuff. They always turned out to be giant blobs.

I usually don't do them either.
Takes a lot of zooming in and out toget the look right.
I might submit my tiny pixel Lara from on top of my train one of these days.

I really liked your last icon with the animated green background. I assume thats for your personal use only though (If not I would like to use it as one of my LJ icons cuz it rocks!!!)

Understandable, but still cool enough that it was worth a shot.

The Professor avvy with the green background?
It'll be back. My avvys really represent me.
Drawn from scratch and with my own personal touch.
I really don't want others to usew them

so, what, they lost the tools they used to make the ones they have? someone misplace a disk or corrupt a hard drive? wait- it's not even really software per se, it's web based... some html/xml/css should really solve the issue

if you pull the source of the legend page it's easy to see how they're using the icons...

for example- (i butchered the code a bit so it wouldnt resolve but display text instead)
has a linked image, some alt text, and inline size, and the :name: string
-------------------------------
etc etc etc
;laughing;
Laughing
etc etc etc
-------------------------------

it's simply a subdomain and some stored gif's. to recall the gifs inline with text they pair it to a string.

So, they cant copy an existing one, replace the gif location with "palmtree.gif" and replace the string with almtree: or something? should be able do that with NOTEPAD, drunk, and blindfolded. (well, not quite blindfolded).
