I like the textures (in places it looks like PS and in places not?) and the forms are great. But I especially like the great sense of light in this, really nice work.

all textures are PS - especially in the right half of the picture I used a lot of custom brushes which seem to predend that it's a analog painting

thanks! and no... i haven't seen it somewhere before
i just started painting some loose shapes and forms ... and this piece was the result of it.

that is awesome!! i wish i were that good. the ones i paint out of head look so much different than the ones i use reference.

well, i wish i would do more paintings with reference. although it's always fun to create something out of head, i noticed: when i paint with reference , i learn far more than without it.

After finishing a reference pic, i was always able to implement my new knowledge in my other paintings

yes that actually makes a lot of sense. you learn more because the picture you are looking at adds more shading and details you can copy while in your head it sometimes doesn't look the same.
