Description

A client was looking for a Vaporeon version in this style. Umbreon and Espeon are in my gallery. It's funny coming back to a concept some time later and seeing it with different eyes. The theme is the same but the lines are different. I took out the heart in Eevee's ruff and put in a water motif - it doesn't take friendship to evolve into Vaporeon. Took some inspiration from the Avatar-verse. Water draws power from the moon. Vaporeon is arguably the hardest of the set for me to do in this style. With its various fins, it has a lot of depth and it's hard to represent that with this style. Still, it was a neat challenge and I like to think about how I make my lines flow. I don't do many commissions these days. But it is fun to think about these little details and ride the nostalgia wave for a few hours.
