Breathe, world, breathe, and cut yourself loose from our strangling chains, our hideous vanity that kills you everyday. We can see your anger, we witness the storms, your vague attempts to restore yourself to what you once were, to what you should be, without smoking factories and nature murder, without wasting or wrecking, without plain gray instead of the wonderful green with which you delight the eyes of the lucky ones that can still see you, world, in your most beautiful manner. You cry, we can feel you, pouring your tears everywhere, thunderstorms, hurricanes, you don’t know how else to tell us… I can hear you screaming, World, I can feel your agony. If we are as smart as we claim to be we would understand your pleas, we would realize we are already half way to our own destruction. We would save you, but we need of each other, we are already suffering the consequences, we are experiencing the changes, your infinite warnings becoming truth in front of our eyes. We are scared, but we are guilty, we are imprisoned between our trash and irresponsible acts, but we don’t change, we don’t care, we let the world cry until there is nothing left. Plague, plague, that’s all we are, and a very stupid one, destroying our home, our health and our lives, and you, world, you are paying the price.
