Hahaha, I actually do something similar to this, although perhaps it's a bit strange and different...
I have an unnatural obsession with the number twelve. 
Such is my obsession that Vroenfael even has twelve in roman numerals carved into his shoulder armour. :'D

oh god no that's absolutely not good to hear, the counting thing can be really horrible at some times. Is there actually any method you could get over this? like therapists, ok let's not talk about teraphists,mot of them are unfriendly / caugh, but google also knows a lot of stuff I suppose.
Or just have a chill day once in a while, I don't know if you are able to go somewhere where's a lot of silence and nature but that is something that helps me, taking long walks and just give a fuck about everyhig and everyone around you.
