Character interaction trade for
My character Rook meeting her Roy. Been wanting to draw these two together for a while. Roy is an undercover CIA agent working within a mob and Rook is just all kinds of criminal with no real allegiances. They're obviously going to be BFFs.
I think Rook is just enjoying being taller than someone; that doesn't happen all the time.
dA did horrible, weird things to the contrast as always, but this took so long to upload that I'm going to leave it for now. xD The expressions look best in full view.
In the sketchy reference it looked like Roy was missing part of an ear. I apologize if he's not xD I can probably draw an eartip on. Also I think I drew the muzzles too long and boxy again.

That may mean I failed at proportions again, actually. x'D Rook at least isn't supposed to be particularly long-legged, and I don't think Roy is either. But they are dapper~

I really like the darker coat on Roy (might just be one of his alternate outfits) and how well you drew him when the references you used were incomplete, haha. Those expressions are really nice, too, and I dig that shading and texture you used. They're both such handsome devils (though I wonder if it's a bit weird for Rook to see pantsless! Roy)

I'd actually completely forgotten about that jacket when thinking of designs for his overcoat, but it definitely will be an alternate outfit for him ('cause who just wears one, anyways? pf)

I'm actually considering that a bit! I'd have to make an alternate history for him to fit in the universe there but I think a lot of it would translate really well. It sounds like a ton of fun.
