Description
A lone entertainer dedicating his life for laughter and applause, who is struggling to make a living but who never let setbacks bring him down.

My initial idea was to make some kind of creature using simple but exaggerated forms, which resulted in that almost vertical cylinder of a head. Then I got the idea of giving him a little companion, which resulted in that little marionette cricket.
The last idea I got was to place him in a simple setting with a strong spotlight, which was ment to portray him as an entertainer and also depict some kind of loneliness.
