Here's the poster to one of my favorite movies of all time, Cool World (1992) directed by Ralph Bakshi (The director of the movies Heavy Traffic (1973), Coonskin (1975), Wizards (1977), and Fire and Ice (1983). Cool World is about a cartoonist named Jack Deebs (Played by Gabriel Byrne, who would later star as Sean Murphy in the 2002 horror film Ghost Ship), the creator of a comic strip called Cool World, the main character being a voluptuous vixen named Holli Would (voiced by former fashion model Kim Basinger, who was also considered for the role of Regan McNeil in the disturbing 1973 horror film The Exorcist). Holli has an evil plan to bring Jack into Cool World to seduce him so she can become real. Hooli wishes to be in the real world as a real person. However, a detective named Frank Harris (played by famous actor Brad Pitt), the only other human in Cool World, tells jack the law: Noids (humans) don't have sex with doodles (cartoons). However, Jack doesn't listen, and Holli takes on human form (also portrayed by Kim Basinger) and enters the human world to look for the spike of power. if she takes it out, it will start to destroy both worlds. Other characters include Jennifer Malley (played by Michele Abrams), Jack's neighbor, Isabelle Malley (portrayed by Deirdre O'Connell), Jennifer's mother, Nails (voiced by Charlie Adler), an anthropomorphic spider who serves as Frank's partner, Slash (voiced by Joey Camen), one of Holli's friends, Mash (voiced by Maurice LaMarche), another one of Holli's friends, Bash (voiced by Gregory Snegoff), another one of Holli's friends, Bob (voiced by Candi Milo), another one of Holli's friends, Lonette (also voiced by Candi Milo), Frank's love interest, Sparks (voiced by Michael Lally), Dr. Vincent "Vegas Vinnie" Whiskers (also voiced by Maurice LaMarche), a doodle who brings Frank into Cool World, Holli's Door (also voiced by Joey Camen), Super Jack (also voiced by Maurice LaMarche), and Craps Bunny (voiced by Jenine Jennings), a bunny who plays craps with Slash, Mash, Bash, and Bob.
