What I am: Excited for the US release of Gake no Ue no Ponyo.[Title fix'd, is retarded]
What I am not: Excited for the bastardization of its voice acting (Jonas and Cyrus) and soundtrack.
But, I suppose we'll see how it turns out.
I saw a preview for it recently, and was ready to cry when I heard the Ponyo theme replaced with this retarded Disney Pop song.
BUT. I have high hopes. I'm sure it'll be excellent.

I saw it a few days ago. You're absolutely right, I got shivers of the worst kind when I heard the horrible theme rap at the end. The voices grated on me, but it was worth it for the animation on a gigantic screen.
Fujimoto is cool. ^^
